Sri Lanka Visa (eTA) - Basic Information on eTA Sri Lanka

The Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) is an official travel document that allows eligible foreign nationals to enter Sri Lanka for tourism, business, or transit purposes. The eTA system was introduced in 2012 to streamline the visa application process and make it more convenient for travelers.

With an eTA, you can visit Sri Lanka without having to visit an embassy or consulate. The entire application process is completed online, and approved eTAs are sent directly to your email address. This makes planning your trip to Sri Lanka faster and more convenient than ever before.

The Sri Lanka eTA is available for citizens of most countries and can be obtained in just a few simple steps. The eTA is electronically linked to your passport and is valid for multiple entries within its validity period.
